Before we begin our adventurous field trip recap, we must first give a great thank you to Kay and Robert Arms for their liberal donation to the East Texas Woods & Water Foundation.  Because of their generosity, school children all around East Texas may visit the Nature Center and experience first-hand the Wetlands and the systems that coexist there.  Students will have the opportunity to hear biologists share their expertise in various areas of the science of environmental management. It is important for our future that our youth understand the responsibility of conservation and preservation.

 We thank you, Mr. and Mrs. Arms, for such an exceptional educational day.
